Beaches on Marbella Golden Mile

This beach has showers and public services, watch towers, life guards and first aid, as well as vigilance of beaches during the summer season. Water sports such as windsurf, water skis and pedlos are practised. Among its services we can find two of the most prestigious hotels of Marbella, Puente Romano Hotel and Marbella Club Hotel, two beach clubs and a beach bar. Also the nearest Urbanisations are Puente Romano, Los Verdiales, Marbella Club.

EL FARO BEACH
This beach is situated in the very centre of Marbella. It is 300 m long and the sand is golden and fine. It is a very touristic beach, and offer all kind of facilities that the tourist expects on their holidays, such as beach restaurants, children's game area, different water activities, etc. Walk along the Paseo Maritimo to get to it from our apartment.
Other local beaches
A little further on past Nagüeles beach, you will reach Puente Romano with a beach similar to the one in Puerto Banus but less busy. Here too, are plenty of facilities available.
A little further on past Casablanca beach, the beaches are all quite similar. They are well visited during the summer and offer beach bars, restaurants, sun loungers and all kinds of leisure activities. The beaches of La Fontanilla; Playa Faro, Venus and El Pinillo are less busy as the are on the outskirts of the town.
Beaches Further Afield
This is an attractive wide sandy sheltered beach with a relaxed atmosphere. It has a pleasant marina. Lifeguards are on duty in the high season. It has a gentle slope into the sea making this a perfect beach for young children and families. During the summer, you will find this beach a bit quieter than the rest. A variety of fresh food is served from chiringitos, bars and restaurants. Parking is easy and close to the beach, but frequent buses from Marbella make this an easy option too. Check out the old fortified watchtower alongside the beach, where it is possible to see all along the coast to Marbella and Gibraltar, even Africa on a clear day. Cabopino beach is about 12Km from Marbella on the N340/A7 coast road
This is where the rich and famous like to be. You will be attracted by the alluring bamboo beds, small alcoves containing tee-pees and palms that sway gently in the breeze. Away from the crowded beaches, it is a relaxed environment for sunbathing with a touch of luxury. The party starts buzzing at night and the music get louder as the lighting dims. The party continues until the early hours of the morning which are famous for spraying champagne. Nikki Beach, luxury beach club is located at the Don Carlos beach resort in Elviria on the N340/A7 coast road between Calahonda and LosMonteros, Marbella.
This beach is designed for fun and to release energy. There are many attractions including banana boat, canoes, jet skis, wind surfing, trampolines, go-karts, miniature golf, video games, pinball machines and darts. A mechanical bull will bring out everyones competative spirit! Open Hours: Summer: 11.00 am – 03.00am, Winter: 4pm-8pm. Admission is free but each attraction has to be paid for seperately. Sea, sand, deckchairs and a snack-bar allows the less adventurous to relax. Located on the coast-side of the entrance arch to Marbella, Km 184.
