CAR Malaga International Airport is just 45 Km. from Marbella. The road to Marbella from the Airport is called N-340, towards Cadiz. When you approach Fuengirola, you have to choose between continuing on the N-340, or going on the 'Costa del Sol' toll motorway. The second one is faster and less busy, but cost 5 euros high season and 3.10 euros low season.

This is a good quality coach and not just a local bus and costs only 5.00 Euros. It takes approx 45 minutes non stop. Passengers should place their larger luggage items in the compartment under the bus.

At Málaga airport pay at kiosk. At Marbella bus station buy a ticket from the Portillo sales office. Important: Try to buy your ticket for Marbella to Malaga Airport before the day of departure - sometimes the bus is full. TRAIN SERVICE Train Service from Málaga Airport to Fuengirola The train station is outside the International Terminal. Follow the signs over the footbridge to the train station. You can go by train from the Airport to Fuengirola, a town halfway to Marbella, and then take a bus from there to Marbella. There are 68 train services daily, leaving every 30 minutes. The first one is at 6:00 am. and the last at 10:30 pm. The ticket costs around 1,50 Euros from Monday to Friday, and 1,60 Euros weekends and bank holidays.
